Mix Fight Promotion mastermind Sefer Goktepe today announced his plans to bring the legendary Dutch martial arts event series “It’s Showtime” to Germany. In an exclusive interview with GroundandPound he revealed that “Mix Fight Promotion presents It’s Showtime in Germany” is expected to be held on June 11th or June 18th. Currently Goktepe is in negotiations with several venues. Among the top four candidates are the SAP Arena and the Maimarkthalle in Mannheim as well as the Festhalle and the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt.
Goktepe also announced his desire to sign several well-known fighters. According to him WFC middleweight champion Bruno Carvalho, GMC European light heavyweight champion Jonas Billstein, German MMA veteran Mario Stapel and Germany’s no. 3 heavyweight Andreas Kraniotakes are going to step into the “It’s Showtime” ring. All of them scored huge victories at Goktepe’s last show Mix Fight Gala XI in November.
The kickboxing part features a lot of big names as well: K-1 veterans Tyrone Spong, Gago Drago and Mosab Amrani, plus Germany’s Muhammed Gur, Tevfik Sucu, James Phillips, Alex Schmitt and Enriko Kehl are going to fight for “It’s Showtime”.
If you can’t make it to Germany in June, don’t worry – there’s going to be a live internet stream for just ten Euro.
