Austria’s top heavyweights Gerald "Geri" Turek and Nandor Guelmino scored victories during their weekend fights at Mix Fight Night II. The event took place in Wels, the second biggest city of Upper Austria, on Saturday.

Turek was able to stop his Serbian opponent Dragan Beric via strikes in the opening round of their main-event bout. With the win, Turek recovered successfully from a loss against Jair Goncalves at WFC and an eight month hiatus.

By submitting Serbia’s Sasa Lazic during the first round, Nandor Guelmino achieved his fifth consecutive victory, improving his MMA record to 8-3-1.

The two bouts were part of the twelve fight card in Wels’ Sporthalle Vogelweide.
