Ground and Pound - Fightnews

The Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman fight card will take place tomorrow, August 18, but the weigh-ins got under way today from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California featuring the women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (5-0) who will take on Sarah Kaufman (15-1) in the main event.

Former middleweight champion Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza (15-3) will compete with Derek Brunson (9-1) in the co-main event and welterweights Tarec Saffiedine (12-3) and Roger Bowling (11-2) will do battle to see who moves up the ladder at 170 pounds.

All fighters weighing into did make weight. The nine-fight card will be shown on Showtime.
